Well I was lucky to have couple of mango tree in front of my house. Which would give fruits in summer. Both were different breed. One was alfonso mango tree which was sweet and big . The other was not as sweet but good for the curries ,achar etc. It was a substitute to tamarind.
Mango trees are the favourites of ants especally red ants. I remember the ants because they are like the security gaurd to the mangoes. If you climb the mango tree first one to resist you is the bites of this ant. If you are lucky you can get the bites of honey bee too.
No matter after all this bites if you get few alfonso ripe mangoes it would make you a bit happy. If you land properly 😉
